Camp Broadway

What:

  • Camp Broadway is an outstanding performing arts camp that takes place in the summer.
  • The instructors are New York Broadway professionals who provide helpful insight regarding dance and voice techniques, as well as the secret art of a successful Broadway audition.
  • Camp Broadway is designed to develop the campers’ performance abilities, increase self-esteem, encourage creativity, enhance appreciation for the arts, and develop useful life skills.
  • Campers are able to attend a Broadway show at the Fox Theatre.
  • Lunch is provided each day.
  • The campers participate in a final performance of songs and dances chosen from two Broadway musicals and an original skit that they create.

Who:
Participants must be between the ages of 11 and 17. Classes are in groups of 20-22.

When:
June 21-25, 2010

Camp Broadway hours are 9 AM to 5 PM

Program Cost:

  • The cost to attend Camp Broadway is $500 for the week.
  • Lunch and a ticket to a Broadway show are included in the price.

Sponsor a Child:

  • The full cost to send a child to Camp is $1,000 for one week.
  • The Fox Theatre subsidizes Camp Broadway’s tuition, providing a discounted tuition fee of $500.
  • The Fox also awards full scholarships for half the campers.
